I never realized how many dogs would touch my heart until I became a pet photographer. I only meet each pet briefly, but they are extremely special to me for a lifetime. Over the past 12 years, I've received numerous emergency requests to photograph critically ill or aging pets. I will always try to rearrange my schedule to accommodate such requests. Knowing the unbearable pain of losing a pet, I deeply empathize with you. It's my ultimate goal to help ease your sorrow and celebrate your pet’s life.

Many of you know, we lost our dear Abby a couple years ago . Our hearts were shattered and I still vividly remember that gut wrenching experience. If I can give any pet parent advice, I urge you not to wait until it’s too late to photograph your pet. Consider photographing your family and pets every year and compare photos as the years progress.

I feel my heart led me to offer this particular service to help pet owners cope and heal after the loss of their pet. This is what ultimately keeps me strong and passionate for this cause.

I understand the pain of losing a pet. I am here for you before, during and after the session.  To provide further support, I aim to receive the Animal Hospice Practitioner credential in 2023. Contact me here.

Hudson was with me through all the big and small moments of my life. For me, the memory of Hudson makes me both happy and sad, yet when I look at the images Jen shot during our Going with Grace session, I am brought to tears of joy seeing Hudson's sweet face.

I was so glad I knew about Jen's Going with Grace sessions and that we could get some final family photos with Vinnie. I think it's so important that dog owners know about this when their dog is healthy so they know who to reach out to when that time comes.

Jen was so patient with my old Jelly Roll, and able to capture her little personality, despite her being camera shy.  It was well worth the time and money to have these pictures for when the time comes that I have to say goodbye.

To know your time with your beloved pet is coming to an end is so emotional, but knowing I could count on these pictures was comforting. Jen has such respect for the relationship between a person and their pet and will do whatever it takes to have a meaningful session.

Jen met us for a photo session for our dog Charlie, who was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma.  She was an absolute trooper--not rushing the process and making sure she got excellent shots, both of Charlie by himself and of the three of us together.

Jen came to my home for a session. She knew time was of the essence and worked with me to set an appointment right away. Jen is so kind, caring and most importantly patient. The whole session was relaxed and the photos were above and beyond my expectations!

Jen was amazing.  She made the session as comfortable as it could be. My dog wasn’t having a good day and wouldn’t open her eyes. Jennifer worked some magic afterwards and was able to get some pics of her eyes “open”.  Definitely pics I will treasure forever.
