In honor of World Pet Memorial Day, I am sharing a recent session. Sweet ‘ol Jelly Roll had a Going with Grace session with me a couple weeks ago. I felt I had to include an embarrassing photo of her jelly “rolls” in the top left of this collage so you could truly appreciate the adorable name. Jelly’s Mom even incorporated her own baby blanket into the photo session which was really special. Jelly’s little face was absolutely precious and she literally curled up into my lap on the bridge after we were done. These are the moments I never forget, even if I only meet your pet for a short amount of time.

“You were so patient with my old Jelly Roll, and able to capture her little personality, despite her being camera shy. You are such a talented photographer and I am so glad I found you. I did not know what to expect and would have been happy with one good picture of Jelly, yet you captured so many beautiful images. I wish I had been taking pictures of Jelly’s whole life with you. It was well worth the time and money to have these pictures for when the time comes that I have to say goodbye.”

I’m so thankful for each of you who trust me with these sensitive moments in your life. Y’all are a blessing and I couldn’t be more humbled when I read kind words like the above.
